I've been wondering how people are feeling about Bonnaroo lately...I think that it has become much more of a corporate billboard used more to generate funds than to provide good people with good tunes...the original audience's main concern was the music and was reflected in the general attitude/atmosphere of the festival...what do YOU think???

I used to say that bonnaroo "was a dying event" because of all the douschebags that caught wind and turned it into a commercial paradise but the truth is is that money is sexy and can do good things for people on drugs who need to have their minds blown. Bonnaroo is a great festival, well organized, awesome sights, sounds, venue and more original than most fesivals, and diverse line up.

With the influx of money came an influx of people less concerned with the music and more concerned with being out of their minds all weekend and with that comes drug dealers concerned only with making money. In my opinion this really robs Bonnaroo of its heart and soul.

who cares about drug dealers. If your so noble and "above the influence" it shouldnt be a problem for you to cruise right on by and go on to enjoy the GREAT lineup of bands made possible by the increased funding and corporate sponsors...

I would rather not deal with the problem all together and go to another festival like 10,000 Lakes or check out one of the many lesser-hyped festivals around because time after time the overall tone has always stayed true to the original meaning and hasnt been taken over and changed for the worse like bonnaroo has

The Bonnaroo line up is undeniably better and more diverse than ever and it is probably the best of any fetival this year. If you are all about the music like you claim to be you would be alright with the cost in company. Its a trade off
